DID YOU KNOW THAT…

A variety of minerals are needed on a daily basis to maintain the normal functions of a human body. A person can get them from food, water or from taking various food supplements. Unfortunately, our organism absorbs only some of the minerals present in food or supplements. The human organism best absorbs the minerals, which are dissolved in water in the form of ions.

TICHĖ natural mineral water contains more than 10 different natural minerals necessary for the activity of the human body!

Naturally dissolved minerals

TICHĖ is a naturally alkaline calcium sulphate mineral water, containing over 10 naturally dissolved minerals necessary for the human organism.

DID YOU KNOW THAT…

Natural mineral water is divided into three groups according to the amount of minerals it contains:

low mineralisation, when the concentration of minerals is low – up to 500 mg/l; medium mineralisation, when the concentration of minerals is 500-1500 mg/l. It may be consumed without changing its composition and in unlimited amounts. High mineralisation, when the concentration of minerals is over 1500 mg/l. Due to its salty taste, water of high mineralisation is diluted and therefore loses its original natural composition.

TICHĖ natural mineral water is of a medium mineralisation, containing 1378 mg/l of dissolved natural minerals. Formed by nature, TICHĖ spring water of unique composition is suitable for everyone: for the actively working, exercising, for the sick, the elderly and children.

DID YOU KNOW THAT…

A condition for good health is maintaining the balance of acids and alkalis in the body. Constant consumption of acidic products acidifies the human organism thus disturbing the balance of acids and alkalis. Acidity is measured by a pH indicator, the value of which ranges from 0 to 14.  The lower the value, the greater the acidity, the greater the value the greater the alkalinity. Neutral pH is when its value is equal to 7. The pH of blood of a healthy human being is 7,35-7,45. As the blood acidifies, the blood thickens thus increasing the blood density. Constant body acidity results in weight increase, muscle and joint pain, osteoporosis and/or oncological diseases. The body can only get the minerals necessary to reduce the acidity from food or fluids.

TICHĖ natural mineral water is naturally alkaline. Its pH indicator is 7,6-8. The similarity between the pH of the blood of a healthy human and the pH of TICHĖ water is another unique property of TICHĖ mineral water.

Which to choose – tap water or natural mineral water?

Suitable tap water is fit for consumption, however, it is still not natural. To make the tap water fit for consumption, it is treated, cleaned, the iron is removed and the water is disinfected. TICHĖ is the only natural mineral water of medium mineralisation in Lithuania, which is passed straight to the bottling plant without any additional treatment through food grade stainless steel pipes from a spring of a depth of 689 metres. TICHĖ natural mineral water is unique, unmodified, untreated and consumed in its original unmodified composition.

Drinking

Tap water

Value

This is bottled water from a borehole or tap water. Such water is not natural. To make it fit for consumption, it is treated: the iron is removed, the water is chemically cleaned and disinfected.

Table

Produced water

Value

Produced drinking or unnatural mineral water is diluted with different water by adding mineral substances, salts or simply flavouring it.

Spring

Borehole water

Value

Extracted from underground wells or water bodies, not recognised by state as natural mineral water, therefore it only complies with the requirements for drinking water.

Natural

Unmodified water from nature

Value

Water of unmodified composition, which is subject to strict requirements. Natural mineral water is extracted from a non-polluted environment, recognized by the state and the EU Recognition Commission.
